When your social plans fall through, you finish your chores, and your wife is out with her friends, what is there to do? Look at more cars, of course! Unfortunately, I pretty much have no idea what I really want anymore. I guess I want ALL the things. There is no real budget. There is no timeline. There’s not even really a need right now. So, let’s get started!
No matter what I do, I can’t talk myself out of the Celica. I want it, and I want it bad. I would not complain about another vehicle with the 20R motor. And also, I want it.
Another relic from my childhood. Just like the one my dad drove. 5-cylinders? 4-speed manual? Why do I want this. They’re impossible to find and aren’t terribly fuel efficient.
These are my absolute favorite looking Benzes... And color matching hubcaps? Yes please! I would also consider a wagon.
But an old SL is pretty sweet, too.
Here’s a curious one. I once had to drive one of these for work and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The interior and ride in general was quite comfortable, visibility was good, the 3.4L was admirable and reliable. But would I be the guy that owns two trucks? Well why the hell not. It’s my money. Rear seats are actually usable! But fuel economy stinks. You can apparently can’t get an extra cab with the 2.7, not that I would necessarily go it.
Add these to all the other cars I’ve mentioned in the past, and I see one crucial pattern: the lack of a pattern or plan.

You should get a Isuzu Piazza Turbo.

I love the Isuzu Pizza, but it’s really rare.

Minus the “wife” I go through this daily.
How about a nice Quad?
Otherwise.. I’d say your First and Fifth choices are the way to go.

I like those t100s. My father has an 04 Tundra king cab with the 4.7, but honestly that 3.4 v6 is plenty even for the larger truck. Other than a front ball joint recall it’s been bullet proof.

Your lead image looked like a cosworth vega from the thumbnail. It is not a cossie-vega. Therefore I throw the cossie’s hat into the ring.
